Drilling Activity Summary
Description
The Mexico’s Comision Nacional de Hidrocarburos (CNH) has approved a permit for Lifting de Mexico to drill exploration well #2DEL-Paso de Oro in Tamaulipas, Mexico. The well is the second well to be drilled by Lifting under its evaluation plan. The site was chosen because it has similar responses to a previous completion at #1-Paso de Oro. Located in the southernmost part of the permit area, #2016 CNH-R01-L03-A17, Lifting de Mexico will drill the planned venture to 3,089 m. Preliminary estimates indicate that the prospect holds about 25 MMboe with between 17- and 20-degree-gravity oil in Lower Cretaceous.
