Brisbane-based Senex Energy Ltd plans to drill three exploration wells in PEL 110 in the Cooper Basin, #1-Akela, #1-Bandarlog and #1-Baloo, which is contingent on #1-Akela results. The 2,640-m #1-Akela will test a four-way dip closure with multiple horizons targeted including Poolowanna, Tinchoo, Birkhead and Hutton. The #1-Bandarlog will test a mapped, four-way dip closed anticline and has the potential for stacked pay in multiple formations. The primary target is the Tinchoo, with secondary targets in Poolowanna, Hutton Sandstone and Birkhead. The planned depth is 2,525m. Senex is the operator of PEL 110 with 60% interest in partnership with Orca, 20%, and Cooper Energy, 20%.
