Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Operator Senex Energy Ltd. is underway at exploration well #1-Hathi in South Australia's Cooper Basin PEL514 permit. The vertical exploratory is in the northwestern part of PEL514 and northeast of Tarragon Field. According to Senex, the Hathi Prospect was mapped as a four-way closure at multiple horizons using data from the Dundinna 3-D seismic survey. The planned depth of the well is approximately 2,530 m and will test the oil potential of Tinchoo formation with secondary targets in Poolowanna, Birkhead and the Hutton Sandstone. After #1-Hathi, the Brisbane-based company will drill #1-Bagheera East, which is also in the northwestern part of PEL514. The Telopea Field and the Keleary Field are located 13 km and 10 km respectively southeast of Bagheera East. From the Dundinna 3-D seismic survey analysis, the Bagheera East Prospect is a structural trap mapped as a four-way dip closure. The well has a planned depth of 2,510 m and will test the oil potential of the same formations at #1-Hathi. Senex is the operator of PEL514 and #1-Hathi and #1-Bagheera East with 80% interest in partnership with Planet Gas holding the remaining 20% and carried free for these two wells.
