Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Houston-based Cabot Oil & Gas completed six Marcellus Shale wells in Susquehanna County, Pa. The wells were drilled from a pad in Dimock Township. The #3J Busik has a total depth of 11,527 ft and a true vertical depth of 7,103 ft and production is from perforations at 7227 ft-11463 ft. It flowed 10.400 MMcf of gas per day after 19-stage fracturing. The #4J Busik was drilled to 19,631 ft, 6,868 ft true vertical. It flowed 12.1 MMcf of gas per day after 55-stage fracturing and is producing from perforations at 7,736-19,552 ft. The #6J Busik was drilled to 12,364 ft with a true vertical depth of 6,996 ft. It was tested flowing 15 MMcf of gas per day after 23 stages of fracture stimulation. Production is from a perforated zone at 7,226 ft – 12,292 ft. The #8J Busik produced 22.3 MMcf of gas per day from perforations between 7,429 ft and 18,887 ft after 53 stages of fracturing. The well was drilled to 18,962 ft (6,930 ft true vertical). The #20 J Busik has a total depth of 24,777 ft and a true vertical depth of 6,898 ft. The well flowed 26.6 MMcf of gas per day after 83-stage fracturing. It is producing from perforations at 8,162 ft–24,708 ft. The #24 J Busik was drilled to 25,807 ft, 6,884 ft true vertical. It produced 23.9 MMcf of gas per day from perforations at 8,187 ft – 25,733 ft and was completed with 83 stage of fracture stimulation. Cabot closed its merger with Cimarex Energy on Oct. 1, 2021, forming Coterra Energy.
