A horizontal Martin County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas, Spraberry completion was announced by Midland, Texas-based Element Petroleum Operating III in the Spraberry Trend. The #3SH Slingshot Engaged Unit 75-82 was tested on-pump flowing 189 bbl of 39° API oil and 106,000 cu ft of gas per day from acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 9,058-19,014 ft. The extended-lateral well was drilled to a total depth of 19,110 ft (8,637 ft true vertical). It is on a 320-acre Midland Basin lease in Section 74, Block B, Bauer & Cockrell Survey, A-350 and it bottomed 2 miles to the northwest in Section 82.
