Description
Strike Energy is preparing to drill the first of three West Erregula appraisal wells in West Erregulla Field in Western Australia. Up to three appraisal wells will be drilled in EP469. The first three wells, #3-West Erregulla, #4-West Erregulla and #5-West Erregulla have planned depths of about 5,000 m. The #3-West Erregulla will test the continuation of the commercial gas accumulation in the northern fault block and coring, logging and well testing are planned. The #4-West Erregulla and #5-West Erregulla will appraise the reservoir distribution in the central fault block. All three ventures will be completed as future producers across the Kingia/High Cliff sequences for the proposed Phase 1 production operations. Thebarton, South Australia-based Strike Energy is operator and holds 50% interest in EP469 with 50% joint venture partner Warrego Energy.
