Description

Two horizontal Marmaton wells were competed by Tecolote Energy Operating LLC in the western Anadarko Basin in Hemphill County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas. The Tulsa-based company’s #2H Meadows-Clifford 31-30 MD EX is in Section 31, Block M-1, H&GN Survey, A-140. It was tested flowing 15.9 MMcf of gas, 218 bbl of condensate and 4.475 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from an acidized and fracture-stimulated in Marmaton D Granite Wash at 11,620-21,507 ft in a north lateral, which extends nearly 2 miles to 21,645 ft (11,394 ft true vertical). It bottomed in Section 30, A-1387 and was tested on a 48/64-in. choke with a shut-in tubing pressure of 2,635 psi and a flowing tubing pressure of 763 psi. About 30 ft east on the pad, #1H Meadows-Clifford 31-30 MD EX flowed 10.2 MMcf of gas, 437 bbl of condensate and 3.5 Mbbl of water. It was drilled to 19,419-ft, 11,640 ft true vertical. Production is from a treated, stacked wellbore drilled in Marmaton E at 11,859-19,269 ft. Tested on a 64/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,639 psi and the shut-in pressure was 1,855 psi.
