Description

Three Rulison Field directional wells were completed from a pad in Garfield County, Colo., by Denver-based TEP Rocky Mountain, an affiliate of Terra Energy Partners LLC. The pad is located in Section 17-6s-94w. The #18-RWF 442 Federal was drilled to 9,112 ft (8,938 ft true vertical) and bottomed in Section 18. The venture was fractured in 16 stages and flowed 1.77 MMcf of gas from commingled Williams Fork (5,649-8,253 ft) and Cameo (8,237-8,909 ft). It was tested on a 20/64-in. choke and with a flowing tubing pressure of 1,437 psi and a flowing casing pressure of 1,748 psi. The #17-RWF 14 Federal was drilled to 9,035 ft, 8,984 ft true vertical, and bottomed in the same section. It was tested flowing 720 Mcf of gas from commingled Williams Fork (6,221-8,142 ft) and Cameo (8,165-8,820 ft) after 15-stage fracturing. Gauged on a 20/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,563 psi and the flowing casing pressure was 1,940 psi. The #7-RWF 43 Federal was drilled to 9,736 ft, 8,994 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Section 7. It was tested flowing 2.077 Mcf of gas after 15-stage fracturing from commingled Williams Fork (6,931-8,884 ft) and Cameo (8,904-9,576 ft). Tested on a 20/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,825 ft and the flowing casing pressure was 2,004 psi.
