Terra Nova Energy Ltd. has received regulatory approval to begin its upcoming drilling program in South Australia's petroleum exploration license PEL444. The company is also applying for site preparation approval as well as drilling permits on the western flank of the Cooper/Eromanga Basins. Two wells are funded and Terra Nova is in the process of reviewing bids from qualified drilling companies to perform this work. Vancouver, B.C.-based Terra Nova Energy is the operator of PEL444 with 55% interest earned by conduct of the Wingman 3D seismic survey. Australian-Canadian Oil Royalties and Sakhai each hold a further 8.222%, with Holloman Energy holding the remaining stake.
