Venture Oil & Gas Inc. announced results from three Cotton Valley oil wells in Glade Crossing Field in Jones County, Miss. The #1 Sue Poore 27-3 was tested flowing 328 bbl of 48-degree-gravity crude and 470 Mcf of gas from 17,201-42 ft. It was vertically drilled to 17,591 ft and is in Section 27-8n-11w. The well has recovered crude from a deeper Cotton Valley zone than the company’s other wells in the field. The company’s #1 Craft 22-15 in Section 22 was tested flowing 388 bbl of 50-degree-gravity crude and 916 Mcf of gas from perforations at 16,958-88 ft. The total depth is 19,325 ft. The #1 Morgan 22-4, also in Section 22, was drilled to 17,917 ft, and it produced 350 bbl of crude, 727 Mcf of gas and 13 bbl of water per day from perforations at 17,016-42 ft.
