Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Southwestern Production Co. announced results from three Susquehanna County, Pa., Marcellus Shale discoveries that were drilled at a pad in Page Lake Field. The #1H Karmazin has a total depth of 21,928 ft and a true vertical depth of 6,169 ft. It initially flowed 21.881 MMcf of gas per day from a fractured and perforated zone at 6,798-23,003 after 58-stage fracturing. The #5H Karmazin has a total depth of 26,838 ft and a true vertical depth of 6,758 ft. After 89-stage fracturing, it produced 8.706 MMcf of gas from perforations at 7,030-26,721 ft. The #6H Karmazin was drilled to 25,483 ft, 6,739 ft true vertical. It produced 6.564 MMcf of gas after 61 stages of fracture stimulation. Production is from perforations at 6,409-25,359 ft.
