Description
Southwestern Production Co. announced three new field Marcellus discoveries in Lycoming County, Pa. The wells were completed from a drillpad in Section 5 Nauvoo 7.5 Quad, Jackson Township. The #5H Brown was drilled to 16,077 ft (7,602 ft true vertical). It initially flowed 27.888 MMcf of gas per day from perforations at 8,289-15,979 ft. The #10H Brown was drilled to 19,174 ft, 7,845 ft true vertical, and produced 29.28 MMcf of gas per day from a perforated zone at 8,100-15.975 ft. The #9H Brown was drilled to 19,548 ft (7,885 ft true vertical). It produced 29.856 MMcf of gas daily from a perforated Marcellus zone at 7,955-19,456 ft after 58-stage fracturing. Southwestern is based in Spring, Texas.
