Description
Three high-volume Marcellus Shale discoveries were completed in Wyoming County, Pa., by Chesapeake Operating Inc. The Mehoopany Field pad is in Section 3 Jenningsville 7.5 Quad, Windham Township. The #102HC Deer Park produced 62.681 MMcf of gas per day from perforations at 8,249 ft and 20,485 ft. It was drilled to a total depth of 21,370 ft, 8,374 ft true vertical. The offsetting #104HC Deer Park had a 24-hour flow rate of 61.977 MMcf of gas. It was drilled to 21,684 ft, 8,354 ft true vertical. The #103HC Deer Park was tested flowing 54.6957 MMcf of gas per day. Production is from fractured perforations at 7,973-17,918 ft, and it was drilled to 17,933 ft, 8,134 ft true vertical.
