Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Transerv Energy, based in Perth, reported a gross 175m gas pay zone in the Warro on-shore in Western Australia's Blocks EP407 and EP321. According to Transerv, #5ST Warro included approximately 130 m of net gas pay in massive stacked sands and the well remains in gas at total depth and additional, deeper, reserve potential, shows seem to indicate that Warro Field could be even larger than previous estimates. Additional fracture stimulation and testing is planned. The well has been suspended and 5.5-in. casing is being run. A gas-water contact was not observed in the well, but gas-on-rock was seen on logs at the base of the lowest pay section. The discovery has deepened the lowest known gas in the field by more than 60m with the potential for further gas zones to be present in the next 300m. Transerv is the operator of Blocks EP407 and EP321 and the Warro Field with 35% interest in partnership with Alcoa of Australia holds the remaining 66%.
