Southwestern Energy Co. has completed two horizontal Arkoma Basin-Fayetteville wells in Van Buren County, Ark. The #8-36H26 J. Edwards is in Section 36-9n-14w. It was tested flowing 7.32 MMcf of gas per day from perforations at 4,655 and 8,456 ft after eight-stage fracturing. The well is in Section 36-9n-14w and was drilled to the northwest to 8,530 ft, 4,386 ft true vertical. It bottomed in Section 26-9n-14w. About 20 ft to the south, #7-36H26 J. Edwards was tested in a parallel lateral at 4,718-9,725 ft flowing 6.97 MMcf of gas per day following 11-stage fracturing. The well was drilled to 9,798 ft, 4,359 ft true vertical, and it bottomed in Section 26-9n-14w. Southwestern Energy is based in Spring, Texas.
