Description
Two McKenzie County, N.D., Bakken discoveries were reported by EOG Resources Inc. in Clarks Creek Field. The discoveries were drilled from a pad in Section 7-151n-94w. The #46-0706h Clarks Creek was drilled to 21,113 ft with a true vertical depth of 10,624 ft. It was tested on a 36/64-in. choke flowing 2,783 bbl of oil, 3.192 MMcf of gas and 1,864 bbl of water per day. Production is from Bakken perforations at 11,389-21,056 ft. The #45-0705H Clarks Creek was drilled to 20,841 ft, 10,582 ft true vertical. It was tested on a 48/64-in. choke flowing 1,639 bbl of oil, 1.8 MMcf of gas and 737 bbl of water per day and is producing from Bakken at 11,325-20,810 ft. EOG is based in Houston.
