Description

KJ Energy LLC completed two horizontal Cotton Valley wells in Rusk County (RRC Dist. 6), Texas. The #1H Wilks Gas Unit flowed 10.721 MMcf of gas, 3 bbl of 50.1-degree-gravity condensate and 1,22 Mbbl of water per day through perforations at 10,714-14,365 ft. The Brachfield Southeast Field well is on a 533.3-acre lease in Robert Bell Survey, A-91, and was drilled to 14,476 ft, 10,403 ft true vertical. It bottomed about 1 mile to the northwest in Nelson Howeth Survey, A-384. Gauged on a 38/64-in. choke, flowing casing pressure was 2,190 psi. About 2 miles to the southeast, #1H Carleton-Cyphers was tested flowing 11.3 MMcf of gas, 22 bbl of condensate and 1.022 Mbbl of water per day through perforations at 10,854-14,245 ft. It had a planned depth of 13,300 ft and is in Roberta Tippit Survey, A-773. KJ is based in Dallas.
