Drilling Activity Summary

Description

In Harrison County (RRC Dist. 6), Texas, Valence Operating Co. has completed two horizontal Cotton Valley producers. The #1H Shoults flowed 2.053 MMcf of gas, 3 bbl of 58.3-degree-gravity condensate and 1.35 Mbbl of water per day through acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 10,730-17,835 ft. Gauged on a 26/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 1,805 psi and the shut-in casing pressure was 2,395 psi. The Woodlawn Field well was drilled to 18,020 ft, 10,284 ft true vertical, from a surface location in Section 331, John W. Overstreet Survey, A-531 and it bottomed 1.5 miles to the north. In Wiley Davis Survey, A-210, #1H Martin flowed 1.716 MMcf of gas, 5 bbl of 58.8-degree-gravity condensate and 1.49 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 10,464-17,385 ft. Tested on a 22/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 1,965 psi and the shut-in casing pressure was 2,225 psi. The 17,550-ft Woodlawn Field well has a lateral that bottomed 1.5 miles to the north at a true vertical depth of 10,074 ft. Valence Operating's headquarters are in Kingwood, Texas.
