Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Tulsa-based Tecolote Energy Operating LLC has completed two Des Moines Granite Wash wells at a common drillpad in the western Anadarko Basin. The drillpad is in Section 1518, John Flowers Survey, A-425, in Hemphill County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas. The #1H Mathers 1518-165 was tested flowing 7.91 MMcf of gas, 232 bbl of 52-degree-gravity condensate and 4.851 Mbbl of water per day from a lateral between 10,318 and 17,598 ft. It was acidized and fractured in 19 stages and tested on a 40/64-in. choke with 1,010 psi of flowing casing pressure and 1,950 psi of shut-in pressure. The Mathers Ranch Field prospect was drilled to the south to 17,790 ft and bottomed in Section 165, Block 41, H&TC Survey, A-240. True vertical depth is 10,415 ft. About 20 ft north on the pad, #1H Mathers-Studer 1518-4 flowed 3.47 MMcf of gas with 133 bbl of 51-degree-gravity condensate and 370 bbl of water per day. The well was drilled to the north to 17,699 ft, 10,147 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Section 4, TTRR Survey, A-923. It was also fractured and acidized in 19 stages.
