On the Eastern Shelf of the Permian Basin, Wichita Falls, Texas, independent Gunn Oil Co. has completed two new Bridjourner Field wells in western Fisher County (RRC Dist. 7B), Texas. The #2 R&G Farms was tested flowing 120 bbl of 44-degree-gravity oil per day from natural Ellenburger perforations at 6,892-6,920 ft. Flowing tubing pressure was gauged at 220 psi on an 8/64-in. choke. The well was drilled to 7,080 ft on a 320-acre West Central Texas lease in Section 41, Block 3, H&TC RR Co Survey, A-203. One-third of a mile to the southeast is the operator’s #1 R&G Farms, an Ellenburger producer that extended Bridjourner Field when it was completed in early 2018. The 7,050-ft well flowed 170 bbl of 41-degree-gravcity crude per day from perforations at 6909-22 ft.
