Drilling Activity Summary

Description

According to IHS Markit, Tulsa-based Unit Petroleum Co. has reported results from two extended-lateral horizontal producers that were drilled from a pad in Hemphill County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas. The #1H Carr 1357 EXL is in Section 13, Block 4, AB&M Survey, A-8. It was drilled to the south to 20,000 ft, 11,984 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Section 57, Block M-1, H&GN Survey, A-148. Production is from a fracture-stimulation Des Moines Granite Wash zone at 12,157-19,687 ft. It was tested on a 128/64-in. choke flowing 7.57 MMcf of gas, 263 bbl of 49-degree-gravity condensate and 31 bbl of water per day. The shut-in tubing pressure was 2,963 psi and the flowing tubing pressure was 1,429 psi. The #2H Carr 1357 EXL, with a parallel lateral about one-third of a mile east of #1H Carr wellbore, was drilled to 19,878 ft, 12,032 ft true vertical. It flowed 4.87 MMcf of gas, 150 bbl of 47-degree-gravity condensate and 33 bbl of water per day. Production is from a fractured Des Moines interval at 12,292-19,750 ft. Gauged on a 128/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,494 psi and the shut-in tubing pressure was 2,413 psi.
