Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Tulsa-based Tecolote Energy Operating LLC announced results from two extended-reach, western Anadarko Basin-Des Moines Granite Wash wells in Hemphill County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas. The #3H Young 51-66 MD EX is in Section 51, Block A-2, H&GN Survey, A-111, It was tested flowing 7.85 MMcf of gas, 89 bbl of 49-degree-gravity condensate and 3.834 Mbbl of water per day. Gauged on a 64/64-in. choke, the shut-in tubing pressure was 915 psi and the flowing tubing pressure was also 915 psi. The Hemphill Field venture was drilled to the north to 20,000 ft (10,833 ft true vertical) and bottomed in Section 66, A-1085. Production is from perforations in a fracture-stimulated zone at 11,558 - 19,852 ft. About 30 ft east on the pad, #1H Young 51-66 MG EX flowed 3.36 MMcf per day, with 75 bbl of 50-degree-gravity condensate and 4.078 Mbbl of water per day. It was drilled to 21,190 ft (11,279 ft true vertical) and is producing from fractured perforations at 11,454-20,990 ft in a north lateral. It was tested on a 64/64-in. choke and the shut-in tubing pressure was 2,064 psi and the flowing tubing pressure was 399 psi.
