Description

Two horizontal Fayetteville-Arkoma Basin discoveries in Arkansas were reported by IHS Inc. Southwestern Energy Co.'s #6-1H7 Sneed 8-12, in Faulkner County, Section 1-8n-12w, flowed 10.1 million cu. ft. of gas per day, with no water. Production is from perforations between 5,448 ft. and 14,010 ft. following an 18-stage acidizing and fracturing. The well was drilled to 14,126 ft. and the true vertical depth is 5,195 ft. at a bottomhole in Section 7-8n-11w. The #12-14H Ledbetter 7-16 is in Section 14-7n-16w of Conway County. It was perforated, acidized and fracture stimulated in nine stages at 6,267-10,149 ft. The well initially flowed 9.15 million cu. ft. of gas per day. The 10,844-ft. well has a true vertical depth of 5,943 ft.
