Description
Chesapeake Operating Inc. completed two Bradford County, Pa., horizontal Marcellus Shale wells. The #2H Hattie S Bra is in Section 8, Laceyville 7.5 Quad, Wilmot Township, and was drilled to 10,438 ft, 6,958 ft true vertical. It was tested flowing 43.997 MMcf of gas per day from perforations at 6,814-10,380 ft following 23-stage fracturing in a 3,566-ft lateral. The second well, #2H Ramblinrose, is in nearby Herrick Field in Section 4, Auburn Center 7.5 Quad, Tuscarora Township. It initially flowed 44.6 MMcf of gas per day from perforations at 7,111-13,431 ft after 45-stage fracturing. The well was drilled to 13,568 ft, 7,125 ft true vertical.
