Description
Results from two Bradford County, Pa., Marcellus completions were announced by Chesapeake Operating Inc. The Mehoopany Field wells were drilled at a pad in Section 8, Laceyville 7.5 Quad, Wilmot Township. The #1HC Hattie N was drilled to 20,257 ft (6,624 ft true vertical. It flowed 38.816 MMcf of gas per day from perforations at 7,050-20,146 ft after 53-stage fracturing. Production is from perforations at 7,425-12,814 ft. The offsetting #3H Hattie N was drilled to 12,828 ft and the true vertical depth is 6,746 ft. It initially flowed 39.816 MMcf of gas per day and fracturing and perforation information is currently unavailable.
