Description
XTO Energy Inc. completed two North Fork Field-Middle Bakken well in North Dakota’s McKenzie County. The #24X-34D Maddy Federal was drilled to 27,138 ft (11,217 ft true vertical) in Section 34-150n-97w. It initially flowed 2,608 bbl of 41° API oil, 4.886 MMcf of gas and 1,905 bbl of water per day. It was tested on a 34/64-inch choke with a flowing casing pressure of 2,808 psi. Production is from a perforated zone at 11,720-26,909 ft. The #24X-34B Maddy Federal produced 2,950 bbl of 41.5° API oil, 5.818 MMcf of gas and 1,972 bbl of water per day. Gauged on a 44/64-inch choke, the flowing casing pressure was 2,359 psi and production is from perforations at 11,752-27,093 ft.
