Drilling Activity Details
Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Beach Energy Ltd. reported results from two Nappamerri Trough gas completions in permit area ATP 855 in Queensland. The #1-Etty had a planned depth of 3,800 m. It was fracture-stimulated over four intervals, one in Daralingie and three in Toolachee and it produced 400 Mcf/d of gas (68% methane). After clean-up, it began producing 870 Mcf/d of gas. Tested on a 22/64-in. choke, the wellhead pressure is 570 psi. According to Beach Energy, production is primarily from Daralingie. The #1-Hervey was fractured in five stages - one in Patchawarra, one in Daralingie and three in Toolachee. The well flowed 400 Mcf of gas and was tested on a 22/64-in. choke with a wellhead pressure of 50 psi. Additional completion information on both wells is not currently available from the Cooper-Eromanga completions. Adelaide, South Australia-based Beach Energy is operator and holds 46.9%, with partners, Icon Energy Ltd., 35.1% and Chevron Corp., 18%.
