Description

Two offsetting horizontal Wolfcamp wells in Midland County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas, were completed in the Midland Basin. Murchison Oil & Gas Inc. reported that #1HB Golladay was tested flowing 1.119 Mbbl of 42.2-degree-gravity crude, 1.099 MMcf of gas and 1.74 Mbbl of water per day from acid- and fracture-stimulated perforations at 9,385-16,140 ft. Gauged on a 42/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 460 psi. The new Spraberry Trend producer was drilled to 16,247 ft, or 9.453 ft true vertical, on a 989.7-acre lease in Section 47, Block 38 T2S, A.P. Veazey Survey, A-1058. The lateral bottomed within 1.5 miles to the southeast. The Dallas-based operator’s parallel #2HB Golladay flowed 1.114 Mbbl of 42.2-degree-gravity crude, 1.074 MMcf of gas and 1.756 Mbbl of water daily from treated perforations at 9,368-16,055 ft. Tested on a 42/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 370 psi. It was drilled to 6,155 ft, 9,443 ft true vertical. Murchinson’s headquarters are in Plano, Texas
