Rice Drilling completed a Utica Shale well in Ohio’s Belmont County. The #3H Walking Tall was drilled in Section 6-7n-5w and it is in Belmont Consolidated Field. Drilled to 22,431 ft, the true vertical depth is 8,946 ft. It was tested after 61 stages of hydraulic fracturing flowing 21.64 MMcf of gas per day with an unreported amount of water. Production is from a perforated zone between 9,535 ft and 22,375 ft. Rice Drilling’s headquarters are in Canonsburg, Pa.
