Description
A Utica Shale discovery was reported in Greene County, Pa., by CNX Gas Co. in Rich Hill Field. The #4NHSU RHL CNX initially flowed 23.557 MMcf of gas per day from Utica Shale perforations at 13,497-23,453 ft. It is in Section 7, Wind Ridge 7.5 Quad, Richhill Township and was drilled to the west to 23,557 ft with a true vertical depth of 11,879 ft. Tested on an unreported choke size, the shut-in casing pressure was 8,400 psi. CNX is based in Canonsburg, Pa.
