Description
Production test results were announced by Senex Energy from its Vanessa conventional gas field in South Australia's sector of the Cooper Basin. Exploration well #1ST Vanessa is in the PEL182 permit area. It produced 5 MMcf/d of gas from Epsilon and Toolachee. It was tested on a 42/64-in. choke and material condensate flowed at 15 bbl of oil per MMcf of gas per day. Additional analysis is underway to confirm gas composition and associated liquids (condensate and LPG). Senex is the operator of PEL182 and Vanessa Field with 57% interest in partnership with DrillSearch Energy holding the remaining 43%.
