Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Drilling has been scheduled by Vintage Energy in Queensland, Australia’s ATP 2021 license area in the Cooper/Eromanga Basin. The #1-Vali has a planned depth of 3,140 m and will be testing the Vali structure, an anticlinal closure that was identified in the 2017 Snowball 3-D seismic survey. The Vali Prospect is prospective for gas in Permian-aged reservoirs, including Patchawarra (the primary target) and Toolachee, secondary target. These reservoirs are proven as producing reservoirs on the southern flank of the Nappamerri Trough, with more than 600 Bcf of gas produced from fields within a 15 to 40 km radius of the proposed #1-Vali. Vintage, based in Adelaide, is the operator of ATP 2021 and #1-Vali with 50% interest in partnership with Metgasco (25%) and Bridgeport (25%).
