Description
In Wheeler County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas, Chesapeake Operating Inc. completed a new Des Moines Granite Wash producer. Chesapeake's #2H T.A. Greenhouse is in Section 1, Block 3, B&B Survey, A-16. The well was drilled to 15,997 ft. and flowed 10.3 million cu. ft. of gas, 517 bbl. of 56-gravity condensate and 892 bbl. of water from a fracture-stimulated lateral at 11,460-15,875 ft. Initial tests were conducted on a 20/64-in. choke; respective shut-in and flowing casing pressures were reported at 1,990 psi and 1,180 psi. Chesapeake headquarters are in Oklahoma City.
