Description
A deeper pool test has been permitted by Campbell Energy LLC in Concord Consolidated Field, an oil reservoir in southeastern White County, Ill. The #1 Madeline Austin is scheduled to reach 4,500 ft. targeting pays in New Albany. The exploratory test is planned for Section 22-6s-10e. According to IHS Inc., Campbell's venture is surrounded by shallower wells in the long-producing Concord Consolidated Field. Campbell Energy drilled two Concord Consolidated Field wells is 2011 - #3 Concord Warsaw reached 3,999 ft. and #4 Concord Warsaw was drilled to 3,420 ft. The Carmi, Ill.-based operator did not release production information about the wells. First oil production from Illinois' Concord Consolidated Field was reported in 1942. The field, which produces from 10 Mississippian pays from the Tar Springs at 2,270 ft. to Ullin at 3,900 ft., has yielded more than 10 million bbl. of crude.
