Description
In the Delaware Basin of West Texas, Austin-based Luxe Operating completed another horizontal Wolfcamp well in Ward County (RRC Dist. 8). According to IHS Markit, #1H Ava 213 Unit flowed 7.093 MMcf of gas, 968 bbl of 45.2° API oil and 9,926 bbl of water daily from acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 11,459-20,140 ft. The flowing casing pressure was 3,200 psi and shut-in casing pressure was 4,300 psi during testing on a 48/64-inch choke. The horizontal Phantom Field sidetrack was drilled to 20,202 ft (11,188 ft true vertical) in P.S. Elkins Survey, A-383. The bottomhole is within 2 miles to the northeast in Section 213, Block 34, H&TC Survey, A-284. The initial hole was junked and abandoned at approximately 8,209 ft.
