Drilling Activity Details
Drilling Activity Summary
Description
A Wolfcamp discovery in the Delaware Basin was announced by Austin-based Ameredev Operating LLC in Lea County, N.M. The well, #125H Magnolia 26-36-22 State Com flowed 5.351 MMcf of gas, with 562 bbl of 54-degree-gravity condensate and 2.636 Mbbl of water per day. The extended-lateral well was tested through fracture-treated perforations at 11,878-22,033 ft. and was tested on a 1-in. choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 610 psi. The well was drilled to 22,108 ft (11,449 ft true vertical) and is in Section 22-26s-36e, with a bottom-hole location 2 miles to the north in Section 15. The horizontal sidetrack was drilled out of a 12,020-ft pilot hole. The first lateral reached approximately 18,522 ft before being abandoned.
