Description
A third completion by WPX Energy Inc. was reported by the Oklahoma City-based company at its Nokota pad in McKenzie County, N.D. The Squaw Creek Field-Middle Bakken completion, #24-13-12HB Nokota, was drilled to 26,419 ft with a true vertical depth of 10,891 ft. It was tested flowing 2,304 bbl of 42° API oil, 3.037 MMcf of gas and 5,061 bbl of water per day. Gauged on a 64/64-inch choke, the flowing casing pressure was 1,650 psi. Production is from perforations at 11,157-26,307 ft. The previous two completions, #24-13-12HA Nokota initially flowed 5,398 bbl of 42° API oil, 2.106 MMcf of gas and 3,935 bbl of water daily from Middle Bakken. The #24-13-12HQ Nokota produced 3,513 bbl of 42° API oil, 2.106 MMcf of gas and 599 bbl of water per day from Three Forks.
