Baker Hughes (BKR) will supply technology to privately held Argent LNG, a project that plans to begin service in 2030, Baker Hughes said Feb. 2. Argent LNG is building a 24 million tons per annum (mtpa) facility in Port Fourchon, Louisiana. Baker Hughes will supply modularized LNG infrastructure, powered by the company’s LM9000 gas turbine. The agreement includes a multi-year service plan from Baker Hughes.

Baker Hughes will provide infrastructure for Argent LNG’s 24 mtpa Louisiana project, which is slated to start construction in 2026.
