Foothills Resources Inc.
About
Foothills Resources Inc. is a privately held oil and gas exploration and production company headquartered in Houston.
Foothills currently owns and operates long-life producing oil and gas assets located along the Gulf Coast of Texas. Its primary asset is the historic Goose Creek Field, a world-class salt dome field discovered in the early 1900s and located near the city of Baytown in Harris County. The company also owns producing assets in Liberty and Hardin counties.
Since acquiring this group of assets in 2006, Foothills has continued redevelopment of the fields through a series of low-risk workovers, behind-pipe recompletions, development infill drilling, and upgrades to field infrastructure. Going forward, the company plans further exploitation of the Goose Creek Field by conducting a first-time 3-D seismic survey over the field which is expected to yield multiple exploration and development opportunities.
The company owns and operates these assets through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Foothills Texas Inc.
