Founded in 1963, Sam E. Gilmore was the first to patent metal-to-metal shear seal, relief valves and then develop this technology to patent the first pressure regulators still in use. This original design led to the development of a line of control valves that have become standard throughout the energy industry.

Gilmore is now a division of Proserv Group, the controls technology company, improving the reliability, integrity, efficiency and productivity of critical infrastructure with industry leading control and flow control technology.

Today, Gilmore continues to build on its energy heritage and experience, through the development of new adaptable and modular technologies that go beyond standard applications.
