Veteran energy industry editor Jeff Share has been named a Contributing Editor to Hart Energy’s upstream and midstream editorial platforms. He will be contributing articles to Hart Energy’s websites and magazines, including frequent op-ed columns.

Share served as the Editor of the Pipeline & Gas Journal from 1995 until December 2017 when he retired from that post. During his tenure, he started and organized PG&J’s annual Pipeline Opportunities Conference.
Share has been recognized with 12 Lone Star Awards from the Houston Press Club, including 11 for his popular Editor's Notebook column which will be reprised on Hart Energy's consolidated website starting in January.
Prior to P&GJ, Share wrote for the Oil Daily and several other energy publications. A longtime member of the Pipeliners Association of Houston, he provided its annual industry forecast on 14 occasions. In 1995 he wrote The Oil Makers, An Insider's Perspective of the Petroleum Industry, published by Rice University Press.
Share worked at The Houston Post for 10 years and at newspapers in upstate New York and in the Philadelphia area for another 10 years. He earned his journalism degree from Temple University. He and his wife Janet live in Houston.
