The acquisition adds to Crain’s growing business media and information footprint of 21 international and national award-winning industry brands including Automotive News, Ad Age, Pensions & Investments, SIA, Modern Healthcare and the Crain City Brands among others. Combined, the Crain brands reach 78 million readers globally. 

Hart, which was started in 1973, is the most comprehensive source of breaking news, in-depth features, and exclusive data for the global energy business, covering all sectors including shale, natural gas, NGLs, and new energy sources.

Additionally, its growing events platform brings thousands of executives together each year for networking and in-person discussions on the industry’s top issues.
