HOUSTON (January 26, 2018) – The name DUG Rockies makes a comeback as Hart Energy adds new plays and  regions to the agenda for its annual DUG conference in Denver April 24-25 in the Colorado Convention Center.

The 2018 DUG Rockies  program will feature speakers from Hess Corporation, Oasis Petroleum and Whiting Petroleum —  and expand its focus beyond the Bakken and DJ basin developments to include updates on surging Power River Basin activity.

Already this year, ONEOK announced plans to build the Elk Creek Pipeline carrying 240,000 bbl/d of NGL from the Rockies to the Midcontinent. ONEOK’s recent moves are echoed by others as producers seek to expand their reach for ‘black gold’ in the Rockies’ most active  basins.

Themed ‘New Peaks and Higher Profits’, DUG Rockies’ conference agenda will cover these evolving markets and companies’ 2018 forecasts with a look toward how political tensions affect the Rockies’ prospects. This year’s conference offers broad reach into multiple plays, including:
