Valaris Ltd. has appointed Anton Dibowitz president and CEO. Dibowitz served as interim president and CEO of Valaris since Sept. 2021 and is a member of the company’s board of directors. Read more here.
Maersk Training has named David Skov CEO. He is replacing Johan Uggla, who served as CEO for four years.
Imubit has appointed Kelly Harred vice president of customer services and Roland Schneefuss vice president and head of global sales.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has named Meg McCollister regional administrator for Region 7.
Petrolern LLC has appointed Steven Carpenter director of development.
Beachwood Helix has named Jared Swartz strategic portfolio manager.

Stepan Company has relocated its headquarters. The company moved from 1135 Skokie Blvd, Northbrook, Illinois 60062 to 1101 Skokie Blvd, Suite 500, Northbrook, Illinois 60062. Orders, invoices, contracts and any documentation should be sent to the new address to ensure continuity of payments, support and general communication.
Capricorn Energy PLC has changed its name from Cairn Energy PLC after announcing the change on Nov. 3. The LSE stock ticker will remain CNE, and no action from stakeholders is required in relation to the change. The company has explored for, discovered, developed and produced oil and gas in a variety of locations throughout the world as an operator and partner in all stages of the oil and gas lifecycle. Capricorn’s headquarters are in Edinburgh, Scotland, and is supported by operational offices in London, Mexico, Egypt and Mauritania.
Exxon Mobil Chemical Co. has acquired Materia Inc., a technology company that pioneered the development of technology for manufacturing a new class of materials. The materials can be used in a number of applications, including wind turbine blades, electric vehicle parts, sustainable construction and anticorrosive coatings. Exxon Mobil and Materia have been collaborating since 2017 on the development of new hydrocarbon-based materials that are stronger, lighter and more durable than existing thermoset products such as epoxy. ChampionX Corp. has acquired Tomson Technologies LLC and Group 2 Technologies LLC, nano technology platforms with commercial applications helping energy companies lower the carbon footprint and operating expenses of their oil and gas production operations. The acquisition will enhance ChampionX’s impact of its onshore and offshore chemical portfolio by providing new and innovative solutions with carbon reduction advantages and improved technical performance, according to Deric Bryant, COO and president of chemical technologies at ChampionX.
