Severn Group has acquired ValvTechnologies, a company specializing in the design and manufacture of metal-seated, zero-leakage isolation valve solutions for demanding applications. ValvTechnologies will retain its operational independence but will benefit from a broader pool of expertise and resources as part of the wider group, alongside Severn and LB Bentley. For Severn Group, the acquisition furthers a diversification strategy that will see the family of businesses increase its international presence, widen the industries served, expand its product offering and benefit from a combined approach to delivering onsite service support capabilities across all markets.
Goodrich Petroleum Corp. will merge with Paloma Resources LLC, ending Goodrich’s tenure as a publicly traded independent E&P company. Upon the completion of the transaction, Goodrich will become a privately held company, and shares of its common stock will no longer be listed on any public market.
