ProPetro Holding Corp. has entered into a term contract to provide electric hydraulic fracturing services to an unnamed large independent Permian-focused oil and gas operator.
The company now has four of its Force electric frac fleets on term contracts, ProPetro CEO Sam Sledge said. The fleets will now require approximately 165 megawatts of mobile power generation equipment in support of operations.
Last week, ProPetro announced the launch of its first new organic service line in a decade to provide power generation to the oil and gas market as drillers work to reduce emissions by replacing diesel generation with electricity.
