EnergyNet.com, a technology-enabled marketplace platform specializing in oil and gas property asset sales, said it recently promoted Russell Artho to CFO.

Artho joined the EnergyNet team in 2018 as controller.
“Since joining EnergyNet, Russell has played a crucial role in the growth and success of our company, demonstrating his expertise in business and financial strategy,” Chris Atherton, CEO and president of EnergyNet, said in a statement on Feb. 24.
Prior to joining EnergyNet, Artho worked in the public accounting sector as a financial statement auditor and in the agriculture industry. He has a Masters in Accounting from Texas Tech University and obtained his CPA License in 2012.
“Russell is a team player and always prepared to roll-up his sleeves to get the job done,” Atherton continued. “Russell’s promotion is reflective of his dedicated leadership and thoughtful contributions to our company. I am confident that Russell is up for the challenge and I look forward to working alongside him to take the company to the next level.”
Founded in early February 1999, EnergyNet recently celebrated 22 years in business. Headquartered in Amarillo, Texas, EnergyNet employs over 45 full-time upstream A&D professionals—including engineers and geologists—located in Houston, Dallas, Midland, Denver and Oklahoma City.
