Regulators have signed off on the mega-merger between Canadian Pacific Railway and Kansas City Southern. The $27 billion acquisition of KCS will create a rail network stretching from the Canadian oil sands into Mexico, with the deal to close as early as April 14. New Fortress Energy divested its interest in a floating liquefaction facility in a deal with Golar LNG to sell its minority stake in the floating LNG facility for a hundred million in cash and the return of 4.1 million NFE shares, allowing New Fortress to focus solely on its own floating LNG portfolio.
