Jordan Soto, executive producer, Hart Energy: What's driving deals across the shale patch and where are those deals getting inked? This is your A&D Minute powered by BOK Financial Securities.
The driver for the shale patch and where the next deals to be inked will be are hot topics at the A&D Strategies and Opportunities conference with Hart Energy LIVE in Dallas. We caught up with East Daley Analytics’ senior energy expert, founder and chief commercial officer Justin Carlson on the M&A scramble for inventory.
Justin Carlson, senior energy expert, East Daley Analytics: I mean, first off, we have 26 years of inventory for the top 11 producers in the Permian, so it is definitely a good question to explore, but we've got a lot of room to run in the Permian. What I'd say beyond that, it's probably a hodgepodge. I don't think there's any one single basin that has as big a resource as the Permian, but there's definitely Eagle Ford. There's Powder River, there's still some D-J assets, so I think there's a lot of places to go.
