Speaking of the Permian, Kimbell Royalty Partners continues to shore up interests in the basin. KRP is acquiring royalty acres in the Northern Midland Basin from MB Minerals. Will we see more Permian-focused dealmaking announced in the upcoming earnings season?
The Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern rail companies have combined in a $31 billion deal, which stretches the network from the Canadian oil sands into Mexico. Full integration of the companies is expected to take place over the next three years.
